The fare free period covers all Opal network services in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, the Hunter and the Illawarra, and includes Metro, train, bus, light rail and ferry services. WebOpal single trip tickets are single-use tickets for ferry trips. You must tap on and tap off when travelling with an Opal single trip ticket. Opal single bus ticket are tickets that you can purchase from the driver on board the bus. Customers do not need to tap on or tap off with Opal single bus ticket.
